Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner are two genuine motorsport enthusiasts. The Spaniard, however, loves MotoGP while the Italian is passionate about Formula 1. The two tennis stars embody an authentic passion for sport. For any sport.
Whenever he can, Alcaraz has fun roaming through the garages, checking out every detail of the Ducatis or bantering with riders like Marc Márquez. For him, the paddock is a small temple where technology, adrenaline, and courage merge. Following the races gives him a sense of freedom, as he has stated on several occasions: “It’s different from tennis; here the mind can wander and the heart can race without worrying about the score.” And so, between a training session and a match, he keeps up with the weekend Grands Prix, cheering for the Spanish riders and living his passion with tremendous dedication.
When Carlos Alcaraz goes to the racetrack, he can’t resist taking photos with the riders and mimicking the bikes’ starting gestures, always with that contagious smile that sets him apart. He often gets caught up in team chatter and technical details, as if he were discovering a new way to experience competition. In Jerez he had the honor of waving the checkered flag, turning a simple gesture into a celebration of the passion that unites tennis and MotoGP. There was no shortage of lightheartedness: with a touch of irony he posted one of the paddock shots on social media, joking about the bikes being too fast for fingers used to a tennis racquet.
Perhaps the most beautiful part was the emotion he felt while watching the crowd and the riders. In that moment he wasn’t just a famous tennis player, but a young man captivated by the magic of the track, completely immersed in a world of speed, adrenaline, and shared dreams.
