2025 has brought the
Bimota brand back to the forefront of international motorcycling.
While maintaining its Italian identity, the new Kawasaki owners have decided to invest in relaunching the Rimini-based company by entering the Superbike World Championship with their own factory team (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team), already achieving the first podiums with Alex Lowes
alongside Axel Bassani. The program has been fully confirmed for 2026, alongside a project in Enduro.
BIMOTA ARRIVES IN ENDURO
Bimota’s revival also goes through off-road. On track with the
KB998 Rimini, off-road with the BX450, competing in both national and international Enduro. It’s a project that continues the momentum built this year in the Italian Raid TT Championship, where they immediately clinched the overall title and two rounds (the Sardinia Rally and the Colline Metallifere Rally) on the calendar with Thomas Marini.
THE BIMOTA BX450 PROJECT
GF Racing will continue developing the BX450 and the entire
Bimota off-road range, also focusing on classic enduro. The chosen rider is Davide Soreca, who in recent years has already raced “in the family,” showcasing the Kawasaki brand to great effect in the Assoluti d’Italia, as well as in the European and World Enduro championships.
BETWEEN TRACK AND OFF-ROAD
Within a couple of years,
Bimota is once again actively involved in motorcycle racing, always with “
Made in Rimini” projects and bikes. From WorldSBK to rallies through Enduro, this relaunch is now set to expand into other racing activities. As for the track, 2026 should also see former Moto2 World Champion Tito Rabat race with a KB998 Rimini, contesting the Spanish Superbike Championship (ESBK) after a solid first outing in the final round of the 2025 season.
