Adrian Fernandez on pole and a few “circus tricks” that don’t hurt. Report and standings from the final Moto3 qualifying of 2025. A Leopard one-two at the front, with Adrian Fernandez shattering the record just reset by David Almansa. Raul’s younger brother, who rushed straight to parc fermé, secures pole position for the 2025 season finale. Qualifying ends with Luca Lunetta as the best Italian, though starting from the second row. Ahead of him is Maximo Quiles, who also pulled off a save to remember, but Danish had performed his own trick in Q1 to grab a spot in the next session... Here’s how qualifying unfolded at Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
Moto3 Qualifying, Q1
A blazing battle to secure the two spots for the next session, the most important of this Saturday in Valencia. Four Italians in action, three of them (Nepa, Carraro and Foggia) immediately take the lead along with Roulstone, who managed to return after his latest injury. For him it’s the last GP in the
Moto3 World Championship, and for now no changes are on the horizon... O’Shea slips off just as the final push upends the standings. But here comes Nepa’s roar again, though his future is very unclear after such a tough year... Brian Uriarte joins the fray, Dennis Foggia (at his last world GP before Moto2 JuniorGP with Team Ciatti-Boscoscuro) is 3rd ahead of Hakim Danish. Who pulls off a neat bit of juggling to “avoid” the green... On the very lap that earned him Q2.
Who takes the final pole?
A slow start for the
Moto3 field, who wait a bit before getting serious. The first on track is Guido Pini, then Taiyo Furusato shows up, and gradually everyone else arrives. A few riders stand out: the Leopard duo (with Almansa still on record pace), Quiles (
with a slide saved on the elbow!) and the Argentine Morelli; as usual, we have to wait until the end for the final verdict. O’Gorman crashes (remember, he’s Munoz’s replacement at Intact GP), while Adrian Fernandez hits the turbo and outpaces his teammate, putting his name on the final pole position of 2025; top 10 for both SIC58 riders.
