Eric Granado clinches his sixth
Superbike title in Brazil: a result full of meaning for Honda and his country.
MotoE is over and its future is still uncertain, but
Eric Granado certainly has something to celebrate. At the beginning of December he married his Juliana, and in recent days another major sporting satisfaction has been added: the 6th Brazilian
Superbike Pro title. Already in 2024, upon returning to this championship, he made history with a five-title streak, something no one had ever achieved. Now he's up to six, once again with Honda—indeed, for the last round with the
special colors of the historic CG, an undisputed bestseller since the 1970s in Brazil, a crucial country for the motorcycle market of the Japanese giant.
Considering that the World Championship is set to return to racing in this very country in 2026, at the Autódromo Ayrton Senna, the triumph of a world-class rider like Granado on a Honda is certainly an important boost for the Golden Wing brand! Along with the regular MotoGP presence of
Diogo Moreira, a historic Moto2 champion and a recent signing for Honda itself, with the satellite LCR team. And who knows, maybe Granado will even be rewarded with a wild card... It would be a great triumph for Brazil upon its return to the World Championship calendar!
“Today isn’t just the day of a victory. Today is a day for the history books.” The Brazilian championship begins its long post by celebrating its historic winner of no fewer than six titles in the same category. Starting in 2017, in sequence through 2020, then picking up again in 2024 and reaching 2025.
“Eric Granado is not just a champion: he is the definition of dedication, talent, and consistency. Since he returned to Brazil and chose SuperBike Brasil as his home, he hasn’t simply raced… He has built a path of dominance, resilience, and respect on and off the tracks. Here Eric won. Here Eric grew.”
