The new year has begun and MotoGP fans can’t wait to see their favorites back in action: here are some dates to mark down.
Last November 16 the 2025 MotoGP championship wrapped up in Valencia, and the final commitment of the year was the test held, again at Ricardo Tormo, on the 18th. Then everyone went on holiday to recharge and prepare for the 2026 season, the last with the current technical regulations and with Michelin as the sole tire supplier. It will be very interesting to follow what happens, always hoping to see spectacular and fair racing.

MotoGP 2026, team presentation dates

In recent weeks almost all the teams have announced the dates for their official presentations for the 2026 MotoGP World Championship. These events are always eagerly awaited by fans, keen to see any new developments in the liveries.
  • Prima Pramac Yamaha (Jack Miller, Toprak Razgatlioglu): January 13, Siena;
  • Pertamina Enduro VR46 (Fabio Di Giannantonio, Franco Morbidelli): January 14, Rome;
  • Aprilia (Marco Bezzecchi, Jorge Martin): January 15, Milan;
  • Ducati Lenovo (Marc Marquez, Francesco Bagnaia): January 19, Madonna di Campiglio;
  • Monster Energy Yamaha (Fabio Quartararo, Alex Rins): January 21, Jakarta;
  • Trackhouse (Raul Fernandez, Ai Ogura): January 21; 
  • Red Bull KTM Factory (Pedro Acosta, Brad Binder): January 27;
  • BK8 Gresini (Alex Marquez, Fermin Aldeguer): January 31, Kuala Lumpur;
  • Castrol Honda LCR (Johann Zarco, Diogo Moreira): February 1;
Also worth noting is that this year the teams will then all appear together in a major event scheduled in Kuala Lumpur on February 6 and 7.

Testing and Grand Prix calendar

On-track action will kick off, as every year, in Sepang: first there will be the shakedown dedicated to test riders, rookies and manufacturers (Yamaha) with grade D concessions, followed by the first full collective test.
  • January 29-30-31: Shakedown, Sepang (Malaysia);
  • February 3-4-5: Test, Sepang (Malaysia);
  • February 21-22: Test, Buriram (Thailand).
The MotoGP championship will start again from Buriram and will end, as usual, in Valencia. Below is the full calendar of all the 2026 Grands Prix.

  9. Hungarian GP (Balaton Park): June 5-7;

  11. Dutch GP (TT Circuit Assen): June 26-28;
  12. German GP (Sachsenring): July 10-12;
  13. British GP (Silverstone Circuit): August 7-9;

  15. San Marino (Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli): September 11-13;
  16. Austrian GP (Red Bull Ring - Spielberg): September 18-20;
  17. Japanese GP (Mobility Resort Motegi): October 1-4;
  18. Indonesian GP (Pertamina Mandalika Circuit): October 9-11;
  19. Australian GP (Phillip Island): October 23-25;
