With the disappearance of the Geneva event, the Supercross de Paris now effectively stands as the premier indoor knobby-tire event in the Old Continent. That will be the case again this year, with AMA Supercross stars facing off against several standouts from the French championship between Saturday, November 15, and Sunday, November 16, all ready to give their best and thrill a big-time crowd attending the races at Paris’s La Défense Arena.

THE HISTORY OF THE SUPERCROSS DE PARIS

This year, Supercross de Paris celebrates its 42nd edition. The first took place in 1984 with a curious spot on the calendar: midweek (Wednesday and Thursday), in March, and slotted between the AMA dates at Daytona and Talladega. David Bailey was the first to earn the title of "King of Bercy", and the honors list has since featured many other prestigious names. The record holder with four wins (1999, 2000, 2001, and 2003) remains David Vuillemin, followed by three-time winners Marvin Musquin (2016, 2017, and 2021) and Justin Barcia (2010, 2013, and 2019), with victories also claimed by Johnny O’Mara, Ken Roczen, and, two years ago, Jett Lawrence.

WEBB VS LAWRENCE

The latter will return to action, contesting his first race after the triumphant Nations shared with his brother Hunter, both fielded by Honda HRC. Last year they didn’t find much luck, leaving the title of "King of Paris" to Cooper Webb (Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing), who is confirmed on the grid again. The 2025 AMA Supercross Champion, together with the Lawrence brothers and Malcolm Stewart (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing), are among the stars of the top SX1 class. The lineup also features a splash of Italian blue thanks to our Lorenzo Camporese, a multi-time national champion in the discipline and active in the 250cc AMA Supercross in 2020–2021, who will be at the starting gate on a Kawasaki.

TOM VIALLE DEBUTS WITH HONDA

Fresh off the official announcement, Paris will host the race debut of Tom Vialle as a Honda HRC rider. It will be the public premiere with the CRF450R for the two-time MX2 world champion and two-time AMA Supercross 250cc East Division champion, who will face the AMA circus stars one last time before launching, over the next three years, his assault on the MXGP world title.

HOW TO WATCH THE SUPERCROSS DE PARIS

As in recent editions, this year MXGP-TV will broadcast the event live via web streaming (subscription to the video pass required). Saturday’s program starts at 7:00 p.m., while Sunday’s final day gets underway at 2:00 p.m., when the prestigious title of "King of Paris" will be awarded.
