The 2026
FIM EWC Endurance World Championship calendar has been made official: the four great classics are confirmed, with a few tweaks.
A season with only four events, but totaling 64 hours of racing. The 2026
FIM EWC Endurance World Championship calendar does not differ from what had already leaked in recent weeks. Four rounds are planned, relying on the great classics of endurance motorcycle racing with two 24-hour and two 8-hour races.
FOUR ROUNDS FOR THE FIM EWC
The
FIM EWC Endurance World Championship also (finally...) has its 2026 calendar. The first season under the new EMP management (Endurance Moto Promoter, led by the trio of PHA, ACO, and Editions Lariviere) will kick off on April 18-19 with the now traditional 24 Hours of Le Mans, followed on Saturday, June 6 by the 8 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. While the grand finale will once again be the Bol d’Or on September 19-20, the most significant change concerns the scheduling of the Suzuka 8 Hours, set for Sunday, July 5.
SUZUKA MOVED UP TO JULY
As anticipated on these pages last September 22, the 47th edition of the
"race of races" will in fact take place a month earlier, bucking recent trends. This choice was made primarily to avoid the extreme weather conditions encountered in recent years. Within the EWC paddock, there had also been talk of postponing the event to October, an option later rejected by the organizers because it would be too close to the MotoGP Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi scheduled for the weekend of September 25-27.
