Ducati North America and the Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law team have pulled off one of the most significant signings in recent years. Cameron Beaubier will race the brand-new Ducati Panigale V4 R in 2026.
The reigning
MotoAmerica Superbike Champion, with six titles to his name, had never raced a Ducati before. He claimed his first five titles (2015, 2016, 2018–2020) with Yamaha, while his most recent championship was won aboard the BMW M 1000 RR.
Two-pronged lineup: Beaubier and Smith
For the first time since 2024, Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law will field a two-rider lineup. Alongside Beaubier will be Benjamin Smith, who made his Superbike class debut in 2023 after competing in Supersport since 2018.
Team Manager Bobby Shek makes no secret of their ambition: “We’re thrilled to welcome Cameron and confident that, with his talent and the performance of the new V4 R, we can fight for the title right away.”
After all, Beaubier comes off a triumphant season: having secured the 2025 title, he’s ready for a new challenge with a brand that in recent years has dominated the global scene across WorldSBK and MotoGP.
The American rider looks to the future with great enthusiasm:
“I can’t wait to get on the Panigale V4 R. I’ve followed Ducati’s success around the world and I’m excited to bring that same passion and competitiveness to MotoAmerica.”The new Panigale V4 R debuts in the USA
The 2026 V4 R that Beaubier and Smith will ride is a deeply evolved project: advanced electronics, revised chassis, and an engine refined with technologies taken directly from the MotoGP and
WorldSBK programs. A Superbike built to win, which Ducati also wants to see starring across the Atlantic.
It’s no surprise, then, to see the enthusiasm of Ducati North America CEO Jason Chinnock: “Cameron is a true champion, a professional who embodies Ducati’s competitive spirit. His precision and experience will be crucial in our Superbike title chase.”
Beaubier’s first encounter with the Panigale V4 R will take place in Europe: he’ll be on track with the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team at Portimão on January 28 and 29 for his first official test. The 2026 season will then kick off at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, where the team will field its new lineup over the April 17–19 weekend.
