Valencia hosts the JuniorGP finale: three titles up for grabs with two Italians in the mix, plus noteworthy wild cards. Preview and schedule
It’s time for the grand season finale of the
FIM JuniorGP, with three champions still to be crowned—and the last time we’ll see this name before the switch to
MotoJunior in 2026. The deciders for the European Talent Cup (future Moto4 European Cup), Moto2, and Stock will be held in Valencia, while Moto3 was already clinched in Barcelona by Brian Uriarte. There are still some Italians in contention in the other classes... The riders are already on track at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, with qualifying tomorrow and the final races on Sunday, broadcast live on the championship’s
YouTube channel.
Extra entries and wild cards
An interesting note is the presence of Luca Lunetta aboard a Boscoscuro, a first taste in preparation for his 2026 Moto2 debut with Team SpeedRS. However, this is only for testing: the Roman, now formerly in Moto3, won’t contest the JuniorGP race. Several wild cards are on the ETC entry list: the latest confirmed is Leonardo Casadei, fresh from being announced by the
VR46 Academy and fielded by Echovit Pasini Racing. There’s a new opportunity for Vincenzo Di Veroli with AC Racing, plus Martin Galiuto with Altogo Racing Team, and Enrico Dal Bosco with SM Corse-GEA Motorsport. Altogo is also present in the Stock class with Emanuele Andrenacci, a CIV Moto3 rider this year.
Three titles still in play
ETC, Moto2, and Stock will each run a single race, one shot at the big prize. Looking at the smallest category—soon-to-be Moto4—only two riders can still take the title, both Spanish: Carlos Cano (SeventyTwo Artbox), the reigning champion and current leader, and Fernando Bujosa (with the Italian AC Racing team), 11 points back, while the third, the charging Indonesian Kiandra Ramadhipa, is already at +26 and therefore mathematically out. Moving to Moto2, there are four contenders: Unai Orradre (with the Italian Team Ciatti-Boscoscuro), rookie Milan Pawelec (AGR Team) at -10, Alberto Ferrandez (Team Ciatti-Boscoscuro) at -17, and finally Alberto Surra (Andifer American Racing) at -24. Lastly, three riders are fighting for the Stock title: Tibor Varga (IUM Motorsports), Iker Garcia (GV Racing) one point behind, and Jacopo Cretaro (SF Racing) at -12.
