XDiavel V4 Art Project is a new milestone in Ducati’s journey into the world of art. The four most significant works are now the stars of a temporary exhibition. Sculpted silhouette, bold, muscular. The XDiavel V4 is the protagonist of the XDiavel V4 Art Project, the initiative that transforms it into a contemporary muse and invites artists, schools, and creative communities across Italy to reinterpret its essence.
The XDiavel V4 Art Project stems from
Ducati’s desire to broaden the dialogue between technology and art and is part of a path that the Borgo Panigale company has been cultivating for some time, including participation in prominent cultural events such as Arte Fiera, and collaborations with contemporary artists, the most recent being with Andrea Crespi. In this continuity, Ducati has taken a new step by involving its network of Italian dealerships and asking each—on a voluntary basis—to select a local artist tasked with creating a work inspired by the XDiavel V4 through their own sensibility.
The choice of the XDiavel V4 as the project’s centerpiece arises from the strength of its personality, designed for those who love to stand out and who consider design an essential value. Refined details such as the V4 Granturismo engine, the steel tank with sculpted shapes, and the exposed mechanics define its magnetic and instantly recognizable style. A set of elements that, viewed through creative eyes, can become a springboard for new forms inspired by the motorcycle.
The project gave rise to a collection of one-of-a-kind works, which were gathered and presented to a
Ducati's jury tasked with evaluating them and identifying the four most significant, destined for display in the heart of Ducati: the Museum.
Expanding the perspective on the XDiavel V4
Among the selected interpretations stands out the collaboration between
Ducati Milano and NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, one of the most prestigious institutions in the international educational landscape. The result is a three-dimensional work inspired by the four exhausts of the XDiavel V4, reimagined by Academy students from the Bachelor in Design and the Master in Product and Service Design—Matteo Bragalini, Carlo Cipolla, and Tommaso Chiu—through steel structures that are both rigid and dynamic, in contrast with the soft, sensual lines of the tank.
A completely different approach characterizes the work presented by
Ducati Monza. Here, fashion editor and stylist Simone Guidarelli, known for his floral and dreamlike patterns, applied his graphics to an XDiavel V4, transforming it into a true decorative “canvas.” The project was completed by D-Factory – Atelier of Excellence, a body shop specializing in luxury cars, which helped turn the motorcycle into a collector’s piece.
Yet another point of view comes from
Ducati Firenze, which chose to collaborate with Ruggeri Comics, known for his ironic and satirical style in portraying motorcycle culture. The artist created a hand-drawn illustration that brings the power of the XDiavel V4 into dialogue with the delicacy of the Tuscan countryside, the classicism of Renaissance architecture, and the beauty of Florence’s Duomo.
Rounding out the selection is the project developed by Materico, from
Ducati Reggio Emilia, a start-up specializing in 3D printing. This innovative entity created a three-dimensional work that conveys the physical sensation of Ducati’s surfaces and translates one of the motorcycle company’s core principles: turning passion into living matter.
All creations that broaden the view of the XDiavel V4, expressing its character through unprecedented perspectives and showing how motorcycle design can open up to art, generating interpretations that go beyond function. The four selected works can be visited at the
Ducati Museum until February 2026.
