Corsedimoto.com to broadcast British Superbike live on TV for the first time in Italy

The partner website of GazzaNet has acquired the TV and web TV rights of BSB for the next three years

Corsedimoto.com has finalized an agreement with Eurosport (Discovery Communications) for the acquisition of the TV and web TV rights of the BSB British Superbike Championship for the next three seasons (2018, 2019 and 2020). This season’s 12 rounds (26 races) can now be viewed in their entirety for the first time ever on live TV in Italy. The specialized partner website of GazzaNet, the network of La Gazzetta dello Sport, is working hard towards web and TV integration and for the editorial and commercial promotion of BSB, the most competitive domestic Superbike series in the world, which is appreciated by fans for its spectacular races, uncertain results and authentic personalities. Corsedimoto.com, which in the coming months will launch a new English-language platform, also becomes media partner for southern Europe of the British company MSVR (MotorSport Vision Racing), promoter of BSB. The 2018 championship gets underway on April 2nd at Donington and concludes on October 15th at Brands Hatch.

AUTOMOTOTV – For its TV programming Corsedimoto.com will make use of the partnership reached with AutomotoTV (channel 148 on SKY). Each one of the 12 events will be offered live (20 hours of broadcasting in total) as well as five repeats, spread over several days and time slots in the following week, for a total of 72 hours of programming. The schedule, which has already been defined, will be presented in the coming weeks. Corsedimoto.com will also produce a web TV format in 14 episodes, which will be available on the Tuesday after each BSB round, shared with Gazzetta.it, the main sports portal in Italy. On  Corsedimoto.com, there has always been an entire section dedicated to British Superbike, which every day offers reports, results, analysis and profiles.

COVER BSBBSB – The British Superbike Championship takes place over 12 rounds (26 races) from April to October. It is organized and promoted by MSVR (MotorSport Vision Racing). A total of 26 riders take part on bikes from six different manufacturers (Kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Ducati and BMW). Reigning champion is Britain’s Shane Byrne with Be Wiser Ducati. Pirelli has been the exclusive tyre supplier of the championship since 2008.
