Bol d’Or Prove Libere: in notturna svetta Yamaha Austria

Nelle prove in notturna della 75° edizione del Bol d’Or, in programma giovedì tra le 21:00 e le 22:00, l’equipaggio Campione del Mondo 2009 di Yamaha Austria (oggi “Monster Yamaha YART” per esigenze di sponsor) ha condotto la classifica con un miglior tempo in 1’42″039 spiccato da Gwen Giabbani, pilota di punta della Yamaha #7 accanto a Steve Martin e Igor Jerman.

Come nelle qualifiche ufficiali le prime quattro moto sono racchiuse in una manciata di decimi: Kawasaki SRC #11, con la nuova Ninja condotta da Julien Da Costa, Gregory Leblanc e Olivier Four, paga soltanto 3/10 davanti al Suzuki Endurance Racing Team con la confermata “promozione” di Anthony Delhalle accanto a Vincent Philippe e Freddy Foray con la Suzuki gommata Dunlop campione del mondo in carica.

In quarta posizione BMW Motorrad France (S1000RR #99 Michelin per Gimbert, Nigon e Cudlin) con quattro differenti moto nelle prime quattro posizioni e tutti i “gommisti” ufficialmente rappresentati (Michelin per YART e BMW, Dunlop per SERT, Pirelli per Kawasaki). Poco distante anche la Honda di National Motos seguita da Yamaha GMT94, Kawasaki Bolliger. Ottavo tempo, come nelle qualifiche ufficiali, per Honda TT Legends con Steve Plater, John McGuinness e Keith Amor alle prese per la prima volta con la Fireblade in notturna.

Tra le Superstock il team vittorioso del 2010, Motors Events, conduce davanti al Junior Team Suzuki LMS. Bene MCS Racing Ipone che spicca il 19° tempo assoluto, 24° invece il No Limits aspettando le decisive qualifiche ufficiali che determineranno lo schieramento di partenza della 75° edizione del Bol d’Or.
